Delete your Purrfolio account

You can delete your Purrfolio account and all of the data associated with it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — In the app

1. Open Purrfolio and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't access the app, send an email to privacy@purrfolio.app from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my Purrfolio account”. We may ask you to confirm the request to protect your account. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details (email address and password hash);
• All accounts/wallets and their balances;
• All transactions, transfers, notes and payer names;
• All categories, labels and planned/recurring payments;
• Any preferences stored with your account.

What may be kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups — deleted data may remain in rolling database backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
• Support emails — correspondence with us is kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Purchase records — the product, date, amount and transaction ID of any purchases are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Information we must keep by law — only if a legal obligation requires it, and only for as long as required.

Want to delete only some of your data instead? You can delete individual transactions, accounts, categories, labels and planned payments directly in the app at any time.
